If bumming around at Dino Beach isn’t your preferred way to beat the sweltering summer heat of Shanghai, your alternative is to shred up the slopes at Yinqixing. Actually, there’s really very little shredding to be done here as this gigantic icebox caters more to the novice skier, but if you’re dying to get a little snow time during the middle of July, this is really your only option. Yiqinxing actually might be better for the snowboarders instead. The snowboard park isn’t on par with Sochi, but the pipes and jumps are adequate. It also seems that the indoor park is doing quite well since management is improving facilities year after year, especially in the aforementioned snowboard park. By the time you read this, there could be some new upgrades.
